Owner, Tim Parli, received a Bachelor in Fine Arts from SIUC in 2003 and subsequently began doing remodeling and design work for non-profits as an AmeriCorps member. During this time, he saw an important need for people to receive sound advice regarding home repairs and maintenance issues they might have otherwise overlooked.
In addition to being a licensed home inspector and licensed plumber in Illinois, Tim has an extensive background in the housing industry. His experiences include fabricating and installing sheet metal ductwork for HVAC systems as well as designing, fabricating, and installing stone and solid surface countertops. He worked for four years for a large real estate investor maintaining and remodeling numerous residential and commercial properties as well as offering his skills privately through his own remodel and maintenance business. He is currently an Illinois licensed plumber performing full scale plumbing repair and installation services. Having recently received a certificate of completion from Purdue University for a course in Wood Destroying Organisms, Tim has expanded his knowledge of termites and other related organisms as well.

Because of the Code of Ethics we follow at Parli Property Inspection Services and our desire to be completely unbiased, Tim will not offer unsolicited repair services related to findings in your inspection report.
